The First Time I Met My Best Friend

I remember the first time I met you. It was the summer before second grade, and I remember a little girl about my age knocking on our front door. She asked if I wanted to ride bikes with her, and of course, I said yes. I didn't know that she was Bella Flores, one of the closest and greatest friends I could ever have.
    Every time I think of you in Texas, I think of how lucky I am to have met you. You are amazing and perfect in every way. I can't believe that I will not see your beautiful, smiling face in school anymore. But you will always, and forever, have a huge place in my heart. Even though now your name brings tears to our eyes when we hear it, you are still the most well-loved girl I've ever met. People I've never seen cry before, like Shawn, and Tyler tear up, now have. Because of you, and because of how you all took a big place in everyone's heart at Mt.Penn.
   I wish I could turn back time to when you were still here. Nothing is the same with out you. No drama club without my best friend to be there acting with me, no girl who is obsessed with takis, no girl who is always laughing at my lame jokes. No Bella. I've never felt so out of place without you, everyone feels the same way. I miss you with all of my heart, and hope that one day, we might see each other again.

Bella, we miss you so much! You will always be in our hearts, no matter where you are. Even if you are in Texas, we will always remember you as the girl who made us laugh and smile, Bella Flores, our BFF. I hope you know that no matter how hard we try, we will never, ever, forget you.
